How to play Cat Clicker

No timing or reflexes are involved, and the game tolerates being left alone.
Understanding the reset
The reset is the mechanic that separates this from a simple counter. Resetting wipes your bubbles and upgrades but grants a permanent bonus based on how far you got, so the next run reaches the same point much faster. Players who never reset stall; players who reset too early waste a run.
A reasonable rule of thumb is to reset when progress has clearly slowed — when the next meaningful upgrade would take several minutes of waiting rather than seconds. At that point the permanent bonus is worth more than continuing.
Spending between resets
Early in a run, buy click upgrades, because you are clicking. Mid-run, switch entirely to automatic producers. Late in a run, buy whatever raises the number that the reset bonus is calculated from, and stop buying anything cosmetic or marginal.
Never bank bubbles hoping to afford something large later: in clickers, currency held is currency not compounding.
