How to Play Solar Smash Online: Browser Guide

Quick answer: On the Solar Smash browser page, click Play, choose Planet Smash or System Smash, and follow the in-game prompt. In Planet Smash, select a tool category on the right, choose a tool, then click the planet to use it. These steps describe the web player we checked on 3 October 2026; its provider may change the interface.

Start with Planet Smash

1. Wait for the player to load, then press its first Play button.
2. Choose Planet Smash from the mode screen. This mode opens on Earth in the version we tested.
3. Follow the camera tutorial, or use its Skip control if you already know how to move the view.
4. Choose a category from the tool strip at the right, then choose an individual tool. Click the planet once and watch the result before firing again.
5. Use the planet-picker icon at lower left to try another target. The circular-arrow icon resets the current scene for a fresh experiment.

The order matters: choosing a category is not the same as choosing a tool. If a click appears to do nothing, check that a tool is selected and that the pointer is over the playable planet, not a menu. The player itself provides the current controls; this site cannot change them.

What about System Smash?

System Smash is the other choice on the mode screen. It offers a different scale of play from striking one planet in Planet Smash. Enter it from the mode selection screen and follow the labels shown there. We have not treated the mobile app’s weapon and progression lists as instructions for this browser build: not every menu or feature is shared between versions.

A first experiment that teaches the controls

Try one tool on Earth and note the impact. Reset the scene, then try a different tool at roughly the same spot. The reset makes the comparison meaningful: otherwise damage from the first action can hide what the second actually did. Next, change planets and repeat. This is an open-ended sandbox, so the useful question is “what changed?” rather than “did I beat the level?”

If the player does not respond

• Still loading: wait for the game screen before clicking Play. If it remains stuck, refresh once.
• Click has no effect: click inside the player, close any tutorial overlay, and choose both a category and a tool.
• Controls feel cramped: use the page’s full-screen button if available; press Esc to leave full screen on desktop.
• Black or blank frame: try an up-to-date browser and check whether an extension or network policy is blocking third-party embedded content. The player is delivered by another provider, so an outage may be outside this site’s control.

Browser build versus official app
